HDR (High Data Rate, High-speed data transmission technology) is a high-speed wireless access technology developed for CDMA. It can meet the technology of high-speed data communication in addition to the channel used to transmit telephone voice.

HDR was proposed by Qualcomm. HDR technology officially debuted at the end of 1999.This new communication technology is considered to be low-cost and powerful, suitable for a variety of fixed and mobile communication devices(including mobile phones, handheld computers, laptop wireless modems), supporting internet communication protocols. The transmission rates up to 2.4 for mobile communication 2.4 Mbps.
